Diabetic Foot Care

People living with diabetes are at a greater risk of developing foot problems due to reduced circulation and changes in sensation. Regular podiatry appointments play an important role in preventing complications by identifying potential issues early and helping to maintain healthy feet.

Our podiatrists can carry out a comprehensive annual diabetic foot assessment, including vascular and neurological checks to monitor circulation and nerve function. Your feet will be examined for signs of
pressure, skin changes, ulceration, infection or other conditions that may require treatment or ongoing monitoring.

Routine nail care, callus reduction and advice on footwear and daily foot care can all help reduce the risk of complications and support long-term foot health. If any concerns are identified, you'll receive personalised advice and, where appropriate, recommendations for further treatment or referral.

Whether you have recently been diagnosed with diabetes or have been managing the condition for many years, regular diabetic foot care provides reassurance and helps keep your feet healthy, comfortable and protected.
